How to hack RelianceIndiaCall.COM site
WARNING: I am not advocating hacking RelianceIndiaCall. I am just trying to point out the flaw on their site, in hope that they would fix the issue.
RelianceIndiaCall.com is the premier site for calling cards to India. Though their per minute charge (around 12 cents/minute) is bit higher than what you find on other calling cards site, but their calling card quality is top notch. 99% you get your call through at first try and there are no connection fees per call like other calling cards. Overall, a great service which I highly recommend.
Inspite of the great calling cards, their website SUCKS, it sucks big time. One of the biggest problem with RelianceIndiaCall site is that it’s such an easy target for hackers! To login to their website, you use your cell phone number and 4 digit PIN. Yes, cell phone number and a 4 digit PIN! Getting a desi’s cell number is an easy thing. Once you have cell phone number, you can write a script which tries PIN starting from 1000 to 9999 for given number. I think I need 10 minutes to write such script. RelianceIndiaCall.com stores user’s credit card information (thankfully it’s not visible) and if you wish, you can charge someone’s account by 100$ or so! Obviously, you can use the PIN to make calls to India. In light of this information, I suggest RelianceIndiaCall use this logo:
![]()
Moral of the story: If you have RelianceIndiaCall account, keep checking your account for any malicious activity.

Are you sure they don’t lockout the account after (say) 10 attempts?
June 19th, 2005 at 6:54 am
You can report it here : https://www.relianceindiacall.com/US/yourfeedback.asp

Gaurav,
No, they don’t lock out after any number of attemps.
And Arjun, I already sent them the feedback.

Let me try to hack my own account because i know the range.I will make sure it will break in 100 tries…

Vinay,
Great, if you could try and verify that RelianceIndiaCall site will allow 100 consecutive tries without disabling login, it will be great.

Hi All
There is way to counter this problem if you dont mind very small hassle.
As we all know we use registered number and PIN.
You can register any random 11 digit number (starting with 1) and four digit PIN. This means now you have 14 digit PIN which is much much stronger than four digit.
Hope this helps. if you wnat to now more please send me mail @ rahibhide@yahoo.com.
Cheers

Continuing my post the small hassle i was talking about is, the since the registered number is not your phone number you will have to enter 15 digit every time you make call using reliance card.
isn’t it same as other calling cards ?
cheers

Came to know about the reliance site recently. But for some reason - all I get is an error page. Whether I go through google or directly.
Is this the right add (?): http://www.relianceindiacall.com
Anyone else had similar troubles?
Also, has anyone ever used the Yahoo mobile service for calling India? The rates are competitive but I have no idea about their quality.
Cheers,
A

Yes, I have same problem and I am trying since last few weeks and also called internet provider, microsoft for internet explorer and they both were tested OK but when I called reliance and complained they seems to rude and not helpful including their supervisors. This was my first experience with reliance customer service and was not pleasant. My phone was lasted about only six minutes and no one let me explain my problem and they just kept talking that there website is working fine rather helping.
I have this problem with only relianceindiacall.com website. All other websites are OK.
As per reliance information it is the right add: http://www.relianceindiacall.com
If you find what is the problem or know how to solve the problem please explain so I can get on relianceindiacall website.

Hi Guys,
I am feeling difficulty in getting website Relianceindiacall .com to add money in my account.I am using this account since 2 years and of course there is no cheating in account. But I will be agree with the comment somebody has made that IT Delpartment is not efficient compare to the grate company “RELIANCE”. We can take the name of RELIANCE with proud as leading company of INDIA when talking with anybody in USA. So “Reliancecallindia” shold try to upgrade their IT power so their services become user friendly and get high customer satisfaction point.

I cannot access the web site http://www.relianceindiacall.com from my computer. I omntacted the Customer service and they told me to contact my internet service provider Comcast.I called the comcast they tried to resolve by changing the browser settings. Now they say.The problem is with the my computer and I should contact the computer manufacturer…… and so on…..
Can any one suggest any solution. I don’t have problem in accessing any other web sites
November 27th, 2007 at 3:17 pm
There is a compatability issue with Comcast ISP and http://www.relianceindiacall.com. There is nothing wrong with your pc or ISP. Any one who has comcast as ISP will not be able to access the web page. For some reason one of the comcast server is blocking the tracert to http://www.relianceindia.com. The possible solution could be to reset comcast server, which they may not do it for few complaints. The other possibility is to have http://www.relianceindiacall.com make a more compatable website as not https one. Then when you click on log in at that time it can be directed to a https site. Hope this can solve the issue. In short, there is no quick fix for this problem by the consumers…

I have the same problem, not being able access the site. I get the same idiotic message that lead you to nowhere!
I have contacted Reliance staff and they are of so help. They should be ashamed of themselves if they can not resolve this issue being such a big business in the idustry. I hope more people will join this screaming match and get them to respond.

Of late, I have the same problem of not being able to access their site. All along I was thinking there is new firewall from my ISP side, but just today, I removed my router from the network and wired it to the modem directly, and it worked. So it looks like there is a new app that their web server has added that needs some TCP/UDP ports open.
I am trying to figure out what it could be. Their tech support told me that their web site is maintained back office, so there is no direct support for web site related problems and all she could tell me was to clear cache and cookies and check fire wall settings. I have even tried putting my local IP on the DMZ of the router. It still would not work. But If I remove the router, it works. So it got to be some app ports that needs to be open.

well.. I tried Kproxy.com for the heck of it and set it up on my IE7 and it works that way. So guys, who are still struggling to resolve connection problem with relianceindiacall web site, set up kproxy.com in the connections tab of your IE and it will most likely work. I will do a details step by step for those who do not know how to do this on my web site.

reliance website sucks and i am facing same problem , page not being displayed and as usual the ridiculous customer service says there are no issues with their website just because it works on their side, very incompetent IT support
March 8th, 2008 at 8:15 am
Problem is not with your ISP provider or your internet connection. RelianceIndiaCall is using multiple servers to provide the website (www.relianceindiacall.com). Technical Term is LOADBALANCING. Whenever the last time the reliance site worked on your computer, server stores your IP Address in their system. Next time when you login it will always hit the same reliance server. This is called as STICKY SESSION. Whoever maintaining this server should clear this session atleast one a week. Otherwise if one of the server is down (or) dead slow. Assuming your home IP Address is hitting the same server which is down/dead slow. You will never get a page from this site. Eventhough you have a dynamic IP Address, still most of the time your IP won’t change.
Solution 1:RelianceIndiaCall.com need to make sure all servers or working fine. Atleast Clear the STICKY SESSION atleast once a week.
Solution 2:Try to change your IP address by keep renewing your Internet Connection (using the syntax)
C:\>ipconfig /renew /all

Murali

For the last one month, I cannot get into Relianceindiacall.com from my Verizon FIOS connection. It is the IP address issue of some kind and it is timing off without being connected. Whereasm when I use my broadband card from Sprint, this get connected. Verizon said it will be resolved by this evening and I am not sure. But interesting to accidently read your comments.

RelianceIndiacall charged me for a movie which I could never download thru bigflicks. I contacted customer care from bigflicks. It didnt help. Then I asked for refund to bigflicks. For my request they simply ignored me hinting to download the move with another free movie.
They just played useless games with me and I never got my refund I wrote to Relince customer care to get me the refund, they simply advised me to contact BigFlicks and got rid of the issue.
I am fed up with BigFlick and Reliance. They seems to be the same company as both of them do not want to refund.
